Cyrille Lecroq
Engineer, intervention CTO and inventor. Y is the practice he founded and leads. Twenty years at the intersection of embedded systems, software, signal processing and industrialisation — Oil & Gas, defence, industry, MedTech.
His approach: distinguishing the real problem, subjecting it to a systemic analysis that often links distant fields, drawing an innovation from it — then converting it into intellectual property and a product.
The SKOP illustrates this: a connected 3D-printed stethoscope for remote auscultation, where the anatomy of the ear translated into purely mechanical amplification, embedded electronics and medical-device regulation all converge — carried through to a product and its regulatory path via WeMed, which Cyrille founded. The same capability drives Y's Lab today.
The same approach operates beyond the medical field: Cyrille is the inventor of Keypulse, a patented cybersecurity system, now carried by a dedicated startup.
AI is part of his toolkit — when it solves, not when it decorates. Fine-tuning models for domain tasks (sportech, first aid, regulatory), local and sovereign AI, signal learning down to classifying pathological sounds in auscultation. And assistants he designs end to end: the Ask & Get on this site, Keypulse's RAG-augmented data room, or ATLAS, his copilot for running Y.
